Sheila and Jim showed Monica and Ed the ropes of WQ testing on a sunny warm day. We were starting our 5 weeks of testing in what should be wet conditions, but conditions were very dry as there had been no rain for nearly 3 weeks. The water quality was good in all areas, clear and cool. But volume was low and there was no sign of spawners at any of the locations. Turbidity was so low that we had a few negative results. The meter was calibrated to 10 and should probably been to zero given the low turbidity. A good problem to have.
Here are the results of this week’s testing:MPWS Water Quality 2018 10 Oct 18
