Sheila and Cheuey were out testing at the end of May after a long period of unseasonably dry, warm weather. Water levels were low, with Piercy at Copperfield already dry. Ph was quite high at most locations, but not above acceptable limit. The spring at Marsden had very little volume and was high in temperature at 18.0 C. Dissolved oxygen at Willemar was 6.9, very close to the lower limit of 6.5. There was little water movement at this site.
We found 2 large, very smelly, maggot-ridden salmon carcasses at Trib 1 at Arden.
